2011 Season - Week 11
Owners Hall of Fame
Last year Daz was voted into the Owners wing joining inaugural member Cheryl plus Chief, Mark and Johnnie. Now someone else will join them. The rules are simple - each year one owner (past or present) will be honoured by the current owners. All you have to do is email me by December 18th the name you wish to place in the Hall of Fame, Owners Wing. Please note there is no room for narcissism in the BUMS - YOU MAY NOT VOTE FOR YOURSELF. Nominations are listed alphabetically on the attached sheet with the 11 current owners not in, joined by the 5 former owners Andrew Gulliford, Mark Harris, Paul Privitera Phil Long & Steve Talbot. Let the campaigning begin, why do YOU deserve to be in?
Injuries Continue
Last week I reported the loss of Aaron’s Franchise Running Back Knowshon Moreno to IR and Craig’s QB Matt Schaub who has a severe foot injury and could miss the rest of the season. Today Schaub was also put on IR. And this weekend was no kinder to the BUMS. Dave G fell just three points short of the Scoring Hall of Fame, in part because of 12 points from Jay Cutler. Unfortunately Cutler injured his thumb in the game and will be out 6-8 weeks after surgery today. Meanwhile Adrian Peterson has a high ankle sprain suffered on his sixth carry of the game against Oakland causing him to miss the rest of that game and he will likely miss at least this week. High ankle sprains can be a lingering injury so Cheryl will have to keep an eye on how he progresses. David S (who already has 2 players on IR at the moment) could lose Fred Jackson for the season as he may be placed on IR with a fractured fibula tomorrow. Help will soon at hand for everyone as Trading Day 2 is but 11 days away to be held at 3pm on Sunday 4th December at BUMS HQ. You have one more weekend to go before you need to finalise your plans but please let me know next week how you intend to trade. If you want to trade but can’t get to HQ you can do so by email or phone. If I don’t hear from you I’ll assume you are happy with your team.
